If you wish to apply to rent this property please ask for our tenancy application form. When we receive your application we will hold the property for you while we take up references. References are usually obtained from (where applicable) employers, bank, previous landlord and a personal referee. In making an application, all adult applicants consent to a credit check being made.
Acorn Properties charge an application fee of £150 for each adult applicant. Application fees must be paid at the time of making a tenancy application and are non-refundable, even in the event of an application being refused.
On receipt of satisfactory references we will prepare a the tenancy agreement and will require payment of the first month’s rent together with a damage deposit (see the front page of these details for the amounts required) prior to the commencement of the tenancy. Rent will thereafter be due on a calendar month basis.
With the tenancy application form you will be given a copy of the property’s energy performance certificate and a sample copy of a tenancy agreement with information about the tenancy deposit protection. On the tenancy application form you will be asked to confirm that you have been given these important documents.
